I live in Indiana with my husband, two daughters, and a head full of stories. When I was a kid, I told all my fears and dreams to the dogs, cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, lizards, hermit crabs, etc. that shared my home, and I secretly hoped that they understood me. Dinky was inspired by my dog Kodiak, a cuddly 150 pound Alaskan Malamute who truly believed that her head was a lap dog.
