High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Kids in the Hall: Death Comes to Town is a Canadian television series which debuted January 12, 2010 on CBC Television. A reunion project for the influential comedy troupe The Kids in the Hall, the series is an eight-episode comedic murder mystery described by the Kids as Corner Gas meets Twin Peaks. Unlike the sketch comedy format of the Kids earlier series, Death Comes to Town is a single-camera narrative sitcom, a format that Dave Foley has acknowledged is inspired in part by the British comedy series The League of Gentlemen. Although the Kids themselves play all of the major characters (with the exception of child character Rampop played by Landon Reynolds-Trudel), a number of other noted comedic actors, including Dan Redican, Colin Mochrie, Wayne Robson and Mike Beaver, have also appeared in supporting roles. The series was filmed in North Bay, Mattawa and Sturgeon Falls, Ontario in the summer of 2009.
