Travis James Annabel is a prolific writer across a number of mediums. As a journalist and editor of Australia's biggest men's interest magazine, 4WD Action, as well as lead editor for Australia's longest running off-road motoring magazine, Overlander 4WD, his articles have been read by hundreds of thousands of readers. He is also a script writer for screen and television having had numerous short films produced, as well as a TV pilot, titled The Carousel. With two feature film scripts awaiting production, The Sum of Life and The Prophets, Travis's screen future is only just taking off. In addition to television and screen, Travis has also written the scripts for numerous online commercial campaigns for major international companies including Bridgestone Tyres and Valvoline Oils, which have had millions of views. Killer of Stars is his debut novel, and the first in the Immortal Vagrant Trilogy. His literary influences include Alastair Reynolds, Peter F. Hamilton, Kim Stanley Robinson and Daniel Easterman to name just a few. Travis lives in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney NSW, Australia with his young family.
