Lee believes climate change can be reversed with good laws and enforcement. Gus is a solo eco commando determined to reverse global warming through public shaming. Together they seek to help a community displaced by rising oceans, move their church inland to safety. Allies were scarce before Greta galvanized the world's youth but they find a few. Natalie, one of Lee's many cousins, helps with a social media campaign. A Dutch couple bring their deep cultural heritage of struggling against floods. Rob, another of Lee's cousins, keeps the group in good spirits with his decidedly offbeat sense of humour. Natalie's daughter Jessie, with the unbounded enthusiasm of a child, gets them all to make their best effort.
Autorenporträt
Peter Brickwood is a crotchety old introvert who started writing novels for the fun of it. Two cats, which he has somehow acquired, graciously permit him to live in a hundred-year-old house that has no lack of things to fix. Building Lego, with kids at the local library, is a great pastime. Otherwise, he is a voracious consumer of books, movies and arcane bits of information mined out of the internet.
