However, this has not occurred within the schools of the UAE undertaking this strategy. While English language acquisition by all grade levels is the goal of the educational institution, it simply is not occurring across the board. Many believed utilizing native English speakers would benefit students. However, even with native English speakers implementing English, Math and Science curriculum, students are still unable to pass standardized testing and to display a general knowledge of the language when compared with other English Language Learners globally. How are these students not able to succeed when being given the advantage of native English speakers providing their instruction? This will be discussed among other findings of reasons and solutions to help teachers, parents, and the stake holders.
