He has more than seventeen years of coaching experience and has won three national Amateur Athletic Union championships. He coached more than a dozen players who went on to play for the NBA, including Monte Morris, Derrick Walton Jr., and Xavier Tillman, and led more than fifty collegiate players to full-ride scholarships. He grew up in Detroit, Michigan, and lives in Chicago, Illinois, with his wife and family.
