Phil and Sandy Hamman are the authors of *Gitchie Girl*, *Gitchie Girl Uncovered*, and *Duct Tape Killer*. All three were national bestsellers in true crime. Sandy is an elementary special education teacher. Phil recently retired after teaching high school for forty years. They were married in 1984 and have been blessed with two children and four grandchildren. Phil and Sandy Hamman are the authors of *Gitchie Girl*, *Gitchie Girl Uncovered*, and *Duct Tape Killer*. All three were national bestsellers in true crime. Sandy is an elementary special education teacher. Phil recently retired after teaching high school for forty years. They were married in 1984 and have been blessed with two children and four grandchildren. Fred Boff was a standout high school basketball player and a college hall of famer who scored over 1,000 points. He began his professional career as an English teacher and coach, but a lifelong desire to be in law enforcement led him to accept an appointment as a special agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration during its infancy. Following academy training, Fred worked the remainder of his DEA career in the New York office. During this time he was in charge of numerous high-profile cases, including the notorious " Cowboy Mafia" ring.
