Through his writing and his appearances nationwide, Joseph Freeman has shared his story of survival during the Holocaust. Here in Kingdom of Night, Joseph Freeman tells the story of his wife Helen's survival in labor and concentration camps in Nazi-occupied Poland during WWII. This touching memoir of innocence lost and the enduring power of faith is a call to a new generation to bear witness to the atrocities of the past so that they may be empowered to respond to injustice.
