Autorenporträt
Brij Tankha is Professor of Modern Japanese History, Department of East Asian Studies, Delhi University, and visiting professor at Kyoto University, Japan. He is also an Honorary Fellow and Former Director of the Delhi Institute of Chinese Studies. Educated at St Stephen's College, Delhi University and the School of International Studies, JNU, he has also been a Visiting Fellow at Hitotsubashi and Tokyo universities. His research has focused on the intellectual and social history of modern Japan. He has co-authored Narratives of Asia - from India, Japan and China ( 2005) and edited Shadows of the Past: Of Okakura Tenshin and Pan-Asianism (2006).
