Similarly in order to get high quality knitted fabric and for the control of processing faults the friction control during knitting is one of the most important factors. For this the yarn waxing is done.Hence the present research study was planned to evaluate the affects of yarn singeing and waxing on the quality of Single Jersey Fabric in order to choose the best combination and achieve excellent manufacture results.

Mr. Muhammad Qamar Tusief has obtained his M.Sc.degree in Fibre Technology in 2002. He is Lecturer in Department of Fibre & Textile Technology University of Agriculture, Faisalabad Pakistan since 2004. He has supervised many postgraduate students in their research and thesis. He is the author of several articles published in reputed journals.
