Knitting, Nature, and the Resistance! When the Trump administration put Ryan Zinke, an oil industry insider, in charge of the Dept. of the Interior, Theressa responded by writing a book of knitting patterns that celebrate the diverse beauty of our national parks and wildlife refuges. Each pattern in this book is a love letter to America's wild places. Beautifully photographed in Reed College Canyon and Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge, this collection will inspire knitters to preserve wildlife, not only in parks and refuges, but right in our own backyards and neighborhoods.

Autorenporträt
Theressa Silver is a freelance designer, teacher, and author of Knitting Wild and Crescents. She has designed for magazines including Jane Austen Knits and Enchanted Knits. She is a contributor to the Knit Picks Independent Designers Program. She also has an array of self-published patterns available on Ravelry under the name ArgentGal Designs. Theressa is a biologist by training and the influence of math and science can be seen in many of her designs. When she is not knitting she likes to be outside kayaking or hiking. She has been known to stop on the trail, stare at something for a bit, and then exclaim, "I bet I could knit that!" She lives in Milwaukie, OR with her husband, two cats, and a dog, all of whom occasionally participate one way or another in the knitting process.
