Gerald Mackrell is a machine tool fitter by trade who worked much of his life in the steel industry. On retirement he started writing for his own amazement. His first book was published in 2008. He continued writing for the church bulletin. His new book, Know, Trust, Abandon, provides his take on life in the physical and the spiritual.
