Introduction. Family planning is an essential component of health, a human right and a basic element in the social and economic development of individuals and communities. Male activity in family planning is known to be absent, and has focused on measuring contraceptive options for women, although reproductive processes involve both members of the couple. Objective: To evaluate the level of knowledge and attitude towards sexual and reproductive health of men in the UMF No. 65 Río Hondo. Material and Methods: An observational, cross-sectional, descriptive study was carried out in men entitled UMF. No. 65 ¨Río Hondo", between 20 and 44 years of age to whom the questionnaire was applied. "Knowledge and attitude towards sexual and reproductive health". Results, Conclusions: The level of knowledge about sexual and reproductive health was acceptable in 58% of the participants, and the attitude towards sexual and reproductive health was negative in 91% of the participants. There is no relationship between the level of knowledge and the attitude towards family planning.
