Maria Sambriong was born on August 31, 1968 in Maumere, Indonesia. As a lecturer at the Nursing Department of Health Polytechnic of Kupang. She is active in community health services, conducting research on public health nutrition. As a member of the Ethics Committee of Health Research at the Medicine Faculty, Nusa Cendana University of Kupang.
