Autorenporträt
Manlio Del Giudice is Full Professor of Management at the University of Rome "Link Campus". He holds a PhD in Management from the University of Milano-Bicocca and he built his academic and scientific career outside of Italy for more than 12 years, in a wide number of world-renowned universities, prior to coming back to Italy in 2014. He had been hired as full professor in 2018 as one of the 20 youngest professors in Italy, in every scientific field. For more than four years he has served as editor-in-chief of the top-tier Journal of Knowledge Management (WoS Impact Factor 2020: 8.182, ranked #3 in the world in Information Science and Library Science and #9 in Management), and he holds key editorial positions with several international mainstream scientific journals on management (for example Journal of Business Research, Journal of International Management, International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change etc.). His research studies comprise more than 160 publications and have been internationally recognised as having a significant impact, as evidenced by the approximately 12,595 citations and the H-index = 55 he has received (as of October 2022) and by his more than 60 publications in only ABS 3* and 4* journals in the last three years. He has served as keynote speaker at top global conferences on management (about 50 per year). Recently, it has been indicated among the most influential scientific profiles in research worldwide according to the data for updated science-wide author databases of standardised citation indicators 2019 developed by Stanford University, ranking first among the Italian full professors in the field of managerial research and in twenty-first place in the homologous category, worldwide (August 2022). He served in several governance apical roles in Italian universities: he has served as associate dean in the Faculty of Economics at the Link Campus University in Rome and, in the same university, he was deputy chancellor, overseeing administration of the Naples campus for more than three years. At the Link Campus Rome, he serves as deputy chancellor for the Erasmus Programme, as well as holding the positions of director of the CERMES Research Centre, director of the Postgraduate Master's in Smart Public Administration and Coordinator of the PhD Programme "Tech for Good". He acted as international evaluator or consultant for several institutions at national and international level for applied research funded projects. His main research interests deal with knowledge management, technology transfer, foresight management, innovation and technology management. Veronica Scuotto (PhD, FHEA, MBA, BA-Honour) is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics, Management, Institutions at the University of Naples Federico II (Italy) after working at the University of Turin, University of the West of Scotland (UK) and then at the Pôle Universitaire Léonard de Vinci in Paris (France). She obtained the Italian National Qualification as full professor in 2020. She has been invited as a guest speaker to several conferences. Her research is focused on small to medium enterprises, knowledge management and digital technologies, which have resulted in the publication of articles featured in top-tier peer-reviewed journals. She has authored three books. Veronica is editorial assistant for the Journal of Intellectual Capital and an editorial board member of the Journal of Knowledge Management. Veronica is also a member of the International Council for Small Business and is a mentor for the Techstars Smart Mobility Accelerator in Turin, Italy. Armando Papa, PhD, is currently Associate Professor of Management at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, University of Teramo. He earned the Italian National Qualification as full professor in 2020. Earlier, he joined the University of Rome Universitas Mercatorum. He was formerly a research fellow at ICxT Innovation Center, University of Turin. He holds a PhD in Management from the University of Naples Federico II and a Postgraduate Master in Finance (2011). He is also member of the EuroMed Research Business Institute. He won the Best Paper Award at the Ninth EuroMed Conference in Warsaw (Poland) in 2016. He is skilled in knowledge management, open innovation and technology entrepreneurship, corporate governance and family business. He is associate editor of the Journal of Knowledge Economy (Springer) and managing editor of the Journal of Knowledge Management (Emerald). He is listed as innovation manager at the Italian Ministry of Economic Development. He has engaged in various peer-review processes for several ranked and outstanding international management journals. He is an editorial board member for the Journal of Intellectual Capital, British Food Journal, Management Research Review, and other international journals. He is member of the I.P.E. Business School of Naples.
