Neighborhood stores are sources of economic income for families that, due to lack of application of administrative knowledge, prevent them from adapting to their needs, in the face of competition and therefore can cause the closure of these. The importance of the present study resides in giving to know options to improve the administrative difficulties that they cross in their daily activities. Factors such as time, money, lack of knowledge among others, are selected as part of the causes that prevent learning and growth of these. Therefore, to counteract the existing problems, it was established as a general objective to conduct a situational analysis to know the administrative management of microbusinesses called neighborhood stores in the South Guasmo in the city of Guayaquil. The research methodology that was used is mixed, where data collection was done through tools such as survey, interviews and observations directed to owners and customers of stores belonging to the locality of South Guasmo the port city.
