In Bangladesh there is a large number of extra people from the neighboring country Myanmar. Bangladesh has started experiencing the constant refugee flight of Muslim FDMN from Myanmar because of the fear of religious as well as ethnic persecution. Bangladesh has mostly welcomed them and provided them protection under the ad hoc decisions, notwithstanding that there is no statutory law for the refugees. A total number of 906,572 refugees is in Cox's Bazar. Among them about 52% are female. And about 23% of the total number of females are of 18-59 age groups. Among them a large number of women are pregnant. More than 60 babies are born here in Bangladesh refugee camps every day. Again, about 48,000 new women will give birth in the camp. They are forcefully raped due to religious, ethnic, economic crisis. In any emergency situation, the most vulnerable groups are the female and the children. Due to this crisis situation, their health has been hampered. Now, these women are the expected mothers. So, there is more chance of having more risks of maternal deaths. Their health should get attention.
