Bibliographic surveys show that there has been an increase in the production of knowledge about professional training in Physical Education in Brazil. However, the absence of this mapping makes it difficult to know its stage of development and prevents the identification of significant problems that have not yet been investigated. In this book, I present data on research that subsidises training at postgraduate level and makes it possible to explain this production, its direction, theoretical references, dates and perspectives. The analyses presented are essential for raising awareness about the capitalist relations of production that characterise and permeate the practices of existence and the production of knowledge. The opposition of ideas is found in the mode of production and must be overcome.
