The book is originally the author's master's dissertation in knowledge sharing practices among library staff from Kulliyyah (Faculty) of Information and Communication Technology (KICT), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). The book focuses on knowledge sharing practices among library staff with special reference to the staff at IIUM Gombak Campus Library. The objective of the study is to establish the extent to which knowledge sharing practices occur among professional library staff in their daily activities. The results of the study revealed that almost all library staff of IIUM Gombak campus library use the Internet for emailing, texting, voice mailing, etc. as part of their communication channel. The study concludes that knowledge sharing practices involve managerial support and individual creativity. Recommendations on how some of these issues can be addressed were also provided.

Barrie Ahmed tiene una Licenciatura en Economía, Administración de Empresas y Ciencias Políticas. Tiene dos maestrías en MHS (Ciencias Políticas) y MLIS (Biblioteca y Ciencias de la Información). Barrie es actualmente un estudiante de doctorado en el IIUM. Taufiq Mathar tiene una maestría en Biblioteconomía y Ciencias de la Información en el IIUM y es bibliotecario.
