Valentina Lepri is Professor of History of Philosophy at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. After obtaining a PhD from the Istituto Nazionale di Studi sul Rinascimento, Florence, she was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Herzog August Bibliothek in Wolfenbüttel and at the Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies - Villa i Tatti, working on the manipulation of Niccolò Machiavelli's and Francesco Guicciardini's texts. More recently, she has been awarded a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship funded by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 programme.
