In the 1990s, with the passing of Seymour Knox II and sons, the family's desire to preserve the beloved property was fulfilled with the establishment of Knox Farm State Park.

Gerald L. Halligan is a retired special education teacher for the Buffalo Public Schools, local historical tour guide, and martial arts instructor. He was previously published by Arcadia in 2011. East Aurora resident Renee M. Oubre is a foreign language teacher and an artist/photographer. The authors are grateful for the support of the Seymour H.
