Wladyslaw Stanislaw Reymont (Geb. 7. Mai 1867 in Kobiele Wielkie bei Radomsko; Gest. 5. Dezember 1925 in Warschau), eigentlich Rejment, war ein polnischer Schriftsteller. Reymont ließ sich 1893 in Warschau als Schriftsteller nieder, wo er 1896 seinen ersten Roman Die Komödiantin veröffentlichte. Reymont gehörte zum Kreis der Dichter der Mloda Polska (Junges Polen). Er erhielt 1924 für seinen vierbändigen, nach Jahreszeiten unterteilten Roman 'Die Bauern' den Literatur-Nobelpreis. Der Wladyslaw-Reymont-Flughafen Lodz wurde ihm zu Ehren benannt.
Wladyslaw Reymont
