Kristin Smith received a B.A. in Communications from Arizona State University and a M.S. in Human Resources from Loyola University Chicago, where she became enthralled with the subject of bullying in the workplace. Having been bullied herself as a child and now having children of her own, she wants to make a difference by doing what she can to stop bullying at as young an age as possible. Her dog, Kona, helped inspire her to write about the subject for young children.
