Wendy Salmond is professor of art history in the Department of Art at Chapman University, Orange, California. Her publications include Arts and Crafts in Late Imperial Russia: Reviving the Kustar Art Industries (1996) and Treasures into Tractors: The Selling of Russia's Cultural Heritage, 1918-1938 (co-edited with Anne Odom) (2009). Russell E. Martin is professor of history, Westminster College, New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. He is the author of A Bride for the Tsar: Bride-Shows and Marriage Politics in Early Modern Russia (2012), for which he won the W. Bruce Lincoln Book Prize. Wilfried Zeisler is the associate curator of nineteenth-century art, Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens, Washington, D.C. He is the author of L'Objet d'art et de luxe français en Russie (1881-1917): Fournisseurs, clients, collections et influences (2015).
