Usually, when one approaches retirement age, they think of travel, relaxing and other leisure things. However, not Renee Barnes. After nearly forty years as an interior designer, art teacher, wife, mother, grandmother and now a great grandmother, she has turned her energies to writing and illustrating children's books.
