Engin Korelli, Geboren am 8. April 1963 in Köekta (Nevehir-TR). Er ging 1982 nach Paris und studierte dort Französische Literatur. 1991 Immigration nach Deutschland. 1993 erhielt er den Ömer Seyfettin (Öykü Ödülü) Literaturpreis.1994-1998 Studium der Volkswirtschaft, 1998-2001 Studium der Turkologie in Frankfurt am Main. Heute arbeitet er als freier Autor in Frankfurt.
