Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, rivers, intermittent rivers, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marches, arable land, rural gardens, and irrigated land. It is not considered threatened by the IUCN.
