Autorenporträt
Dr. Helene Basu ist Professorin für Ethnologie an der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster.

Prof. Dr. Michael Grünbart ist Direktor des Instituts für Byzantinistik und des Instituts für Interdisziplinäre Zypern-Studien an der Universität Münster.

Prof. Dr. Silke Hensel leitet seit 2021 die Abteilung Iberische und Lateinamerikanische Geschichte an der Universität zu Köln. Zuvor hatte sie die Professur für außereuropäische Geschichte an der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster inne. Schwerpunkte ihrer Arbeit sind die Kulturgeschichte des Politischen im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert, Migration, Ethnizität und Rassismus sowie Religion und Politik im 20. Jahrhundert. Regionale Schwerpunkte ihrer Arbeit liegen in Nordamerika (Mexiko und die USA) und dem Cono Sur (Argentinien und Chile). Seit 2017 ist sie Schriftleiterin des Jahrbuchs für Geschichte Lateinamerikas.
