Gastritis is the most common disease of the stomach nowadays that could lead to different gastric complications such as ulcers and even worsen to gastric carcinoma. With a better understanding of its causes as well as how to treat them giving the hope that most of people can be cured. In the present work a model of gastritis was done using ethylene glycol "which is an antifreeze agent" to investigate the possible gastroprotective effect of L-arginine "the precursor of nitric oxide" using different histological techniques. So we hope that our research and results could help patients suffering from gastritis giving a new hope to be managed and cured.
