Novel triblock copolymers of poly(L-lactide)-poly(ethylene glycol)-sebacate-poly(ethylene glycol)-poly(L-lactide) were synthesized by Ring-Opening Polymerization (ROP). Two groups of eighteen polymer networks were also prepared; the first nine network groups were prepared from triblock copolymers with crosslinked sodium alginate, S1-S9. The obtained data showed that the release of insulin decreases within first two hours for fibre IPN's having 2000 g/mol poly (ethylene glycol) molecular weight and 50 units of poly (L-lactide)
