Why is it still relevant three centuries after Kant's birth to continue asking questions based on his books? The thought of the 20th century is almost inconceivable without the mark that Kant left on philosophy. Even numerous intellectual concerns of this century also require the theoretical ground built by him. Guided by this premise, Luciana Martínez and Laura Pelegrín explore, from the Critique of Pure Reason to the current speculative realism, passing through the philosophy of the German neo-Kantians, one of the main questions that underpin the work of the Königsberg philosopher: the problem of things, as they are in themselves. Therefore, the question that is at the core of all the approaches in this book is the following: what is the link between thought and reality? And, in relation to it, what can we know? How can we know that our knowledge actually refers to things?

Laura Pelegrín es graduada de la carrera de Filosofía de la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA). Becaria posdoctoral del CONICET e investigadora de la Universidad Diego Portales (UDP), se dedica a estudiar la filosofía del neokantismo. Es miembro del Grupo de Estudios Kantianos del Instituto de Filosofía de la UBA y del grupo Idealismo Crítico de la UDP. Es secretaria de calidad de la Revista de Estudios Kantianos, de la Sociedad de Estudios Kantianos en Lengua Española.
