Matteo Strukul es novelista y dramaturgo. Vive entre Padua, Berlín y Transilvania. Es licenciado en Derecho y doctor e investigador en Derecho Europeo. Ha publicado varias novelas históricas y thrillers en Italia, Estados Unidos, Gran Bretaña y Alemania. Dirige los festivales literarios Sugarpulp y Chronicae (Festival Internacional de Novela Histórica). Es docente en la Universidad de Roma y escribe en las páginas culturales de Venerdì di Repubblica.
