Dr. Sam Westman Burton was a missionary/educator for 38 years (with his wife, Betsy, and their children) in Argentina, Uruguay, the Amazon River in Brazil and throughout Mexico and Guatemala. He is now a professor of Intercultural Studies. This book was first used in Portuguese for leadership training on the Amazon River. Dr. Burton has another published work: Disciple Mentoring - Theological Education by Extension.
