Piergiorgio Pulixi nació en Cagliari en 1982 donde estudió clásicas. Es considerado uno de los mayores exponentes de la nueva generación de escritores de novela negra y thriller en Italia. Ha recibido numerosos premios entre los que cabe destacar el Scerbanenco a la mejor novela negra del año en 2019 por La isla de las ánimas. P. Pulixi escribe en la sección de cultura de numerosas revistas y es profesor de escritura creativa. Sus obras se han publicado en una docena de países.
