Autorenporträt
Alan Mills was a folksinger, writer, and actor who released several albums on Folkways Records. His performance at the 1960 Newport Folk Festival was preserved on a Vanguard recording. He also found lasting success as a singer with the CBC radio show Folk Songs for Young Folk, which ran from 1947-59. He was made a Member of the Order of Canada in 1974. Bïa Krieger spent her teenage years in Brazil before moving to Paris, where she recorded her first album in 1997, which was awarded the prestigious Grand Prix of the Charles-Cros Academy. Her album "Coeur Vagabond" received the Félix Award in the Best World Music Album category in 2006. She lives in Montreal. PisHier is an illustrator, painter and animator whose work has been published in several Canadian magazines and newspapers. He has also illustrated several children's books, including Monstrueux secret de légumes and Simone et la plus belle journée d'été. He lives in Québec City.
