Autorenporträt

Miquel Mir Serra (Banyoles, 1955) is an archivist and researcher. Currently he is carrying out an extensive research project on the events caused by revolutionary violence and on the pillaging of religious and civil heritage during the Spanish Civil War. To do so, he is working with the classification of previously unseen documents from private archives, as well as documenting testimonials on the actions that were perpetuated in the Republican zones during the war. He is the author of the following books: Sentiments d'una vida (1978); Entre el roig i el negre: Una crònica de la Barcelona anarquista (2006); Entre el Roig i el negre: Una crònica de la revoluciÃ3 anarquista (2007); Diario de un pistolero anarquista (2008); Diari d'un pistoler de la FAI (2009); El preu de la traïciÃ3 and La FAI, Tarradellas i l'assassinat de 172 maristes (2010). Mariano SantamarÃ-a (Santander, 1935) is member of the Marist Order and educator. He has carried out various investigations on the victims of religious persecution during the Civil War.
