Autorenporträt
Elena Tiribilli is currently a post-doctoral researcher (Alexander von Humbolt Fellow) at the Institut fur Afrikanistik und Agyptologie of the University of Cologne. From 2017 to 2019 she was a post-doctoral Marie Sk?odowska-Curie Fellow (Horizon 2020) at the Department of Archaeology at the University of Durham. After a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Egyptology at the University of Pisa (2010), in 2014 she defended a PhD in Egyptology at the University of Turin. Since 2018, she has been field-director of the archaeological survey in the province of Kafr el-Dawar on behalf of the Delta Survey Project (Egypt Exploration Society) and the University of Durham. She is the author of several scientific articles and a monograph, The bronze figurines of the Petrie Museum from 2000 BC to AD 400 (2018).
