Produktbeschreibung
Benin, like other countries in the world, has experienced a computer revolution since 2000, with the multiplication of social networks. These networks have played and continue to play a key role in internal security: protection and popularization of human rights. But since 2007, these vectors of enjoyment of individual freedoms are beginning to undermine the relative social order, gradually established since the advent of democratic renewal in 1990. In order to analyze the conditions of a possible reconciliation between the enjoyment of individual freedoms and the preservation of social order in the light of the development of the Internet in Benin, a sociological methodology based on qualitative research was used. At the end of the work, it emerged that the Internet has become a vast field of enjoyment of individual rights and freedoms and an important tool in police operations and investigations. However, it is increasingly giving rise to digital pathologies that compromise thesocial order. This book is intended for specialists in the social sciences, security issues, delinquency and criminal justice.
