Margot Douaihy es una autora estadounidense de origen libanés, afincada actualmente en Massachusetts. Tiene un doctorado en escritura creativa por la universidad de Lancaster, en Reino Unido, ha publicado varios volúmenes de poesía y es fundadora de la Creative Writing Studies Organization, así como miembro activo de los colectivos Sisters in Crime y Radius of Arab American Writers. Ha recibido la beca Mass Cultural Council's Artist Fellowship, y fue finalista del Lambda Literary Award, el Aesthetica Magazine's Creative Writing Award y de los Hemingway Shorts de la Ernest Hemingway Foundation. Sus piezas y relatos han sido publicados, entre otros medios, en Queer Life Queer Love, Colorado Review, Diode Editions, The Florida Review, North American Review, PBS NewsHour, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Portland Review y Wisconsin Review. En la actualidad, ejerce de profesora asociada en el Emerson College de Boston y es coeditora de la colección Elements in Crime de Cambridge University Press.
