At the same time, this first exercise provide instruction to students how to use a pipette, pH meter, analytical balance, centrifuge, and spectrophotometer, etc. The growth analysis and "Water Potential" exercise provides students with basic knowledge of water relations in plants and how the growth occurs. In the further exercises, students will investigate plant nutrition, growth regulation and PGR's, and stomatal structure, transpiration, respiration and photosynthetic rate in plants, Demonstration of Photoperiodism in crop plants, Germination for oil seeds, cereals and pulse, nutritional deficiency symptoms in crops plats , yield analysis of crop to obtain a better understanding of plant growth and development.

As a Plant Physiologist and a Teacher, Dr.M.K Meena widely exposed to Research&Teaching environment. He obtained MSc & PhD in Crop Physiology from UAS, Dharwad with ICAR&RGNF national Fellowship, then appointed as Assistant Professor of Crop Physiology at UAS, Raichur during 2011. He has specialization in Seed Physiology & Post Harvest Physiology.
