The book entitled ¿Labour Market and Unemployment in Romania: Case Studies¿ is mainly addressed to students enrolled in study programs in the field of economic sciences, but also to all those interested in the themes approached in the pages of this volume. In the same time, the emergence of such volumes can be considered a chance for affirmation of young researchers in the academic publishing landscape. The content of the book includes two logically structured chapters, each of them ending with the corresponding conclusions. The topic approached is that of the labor market and unemployment, important issues for any national economy. Through these studies, we wanted to capture the evolution of the values of some labor market and unemployment indicators registered in Romania in recent years, while also highlighting how the existing gaps at territorial level have changed. Of course, Romania is connected with the European Union, of which it is a part, so before the analyses carried out at regional and county level in Romania, we have illustrated a picture of these aspects at EU level, with an emphasis on Romania.
