The methodology to carry out the study is of mixed type in which qualitative and quantitative methods were combined, under the descriptive, analytical and synthetic level.It is concluded that in general, this is seen in a positive way in the Ecuadorian context, and it is considered a viable alternative for couples to have children. However, it is imperative the creation of a norm that regulates this matter, to solve and respond to the possible conflicts originated by these pregnancies.
