CYNTHIA CINDY ACKLEY NUNN, raised in the town of Simi Valley, California, now lives in North Idaho with her husband, Colin, a cat named Mr. Kitty, and a Belgian Malinois named Lola. She has also lived in Arizona and England. Her thirty-five-plus years as a family historian, genealogist, and researcher, as well as running a professional paranormal investigations team for over fifteen years, have provided her with rich and interesting experiences for her books. When not writing, she enjoys photography, exploring, and investigating new places, gardening, kayaking, reading, hanging out with friends and family, and scaring herself with horror movies.
