"Okay." whispered Lanang. "You all know what you have to do. Autorenporträt
Nicholas Nicola was born in February, 1959 in Melbourne, Australia but since his early childhood has mainly lived in Sydney (where his Cypriot parents had a milk bar). From his mid-20s, 30s & early 40s he travelled extensively overseas; one positive legacy from this somewhat wayward time is to have developed an ongoing interest in humanitarian issues which can have an underlying influence on his creative work. His 'dayjob' has mainly been casual (substitute) teaching mostly looking for work in the area of E.S.L (English as a Second Language) and Visual Art. His main major from his now far away university days was in Fine Arts with a secondary interest in Sociology, Psychology, History, Politics and Philosophy,. Although engaged in printmaking Nicholas also has a strong interest in writing e.g. fiction, poetry, art theory and some travel memoir all of which he is now in the slow process of preparing much of this private writing for public view. His 'home made' website has further information about his creative practice. All the best and thank you. (website details. 'nicholas nicola etchings' http://nicholasnicolaetchings.synthasite.com). All the best and thank you.
