It marks the boundary between Kowloon Tong and Prince Edward constituencies of Kowloon City District. Most parts of the road is one-way downhill towards Waterloo Road. Succeeding Nga Tsin Wai Road, Lancashire Road starts from a junction with La Salle Road. It runs west afterwards on a dual single-lane carriageway until it meets Oxford Road. Upon meeting Oxford Road, Lancashire Road turns into a four-lane one-way street running westbound. It meets Ho Tung Road on the left and Cambridge Road on the right and finally terminates at Waterloo Road. Lancashire Road is then succeeded by Essex Cresent on the other side of Waterloo Road. Horizontal distance of Lancashire Road is 350m.
