Angela Sréter Spencer was born in Transylvania, raised in Hungary, but lived most of her adult life in the US. She showed early interest in art and literature, following in the footsteps of her ancestors. Two Candles (2010, 2012) was her first published book of poems, beautifully illustrated by Dr. Laszlo Hopp's award-winning photographic art. (Available from the author.) She was acknowledged in the Who Is Who in International Poetry and her poems were included in the Anthology of Best Poems in 2011 and 2012. Dating Games (2012) is her second book, a collection of short stories, originating from the many interviews she conducted both in private and professional settings. (Available from Amazon and directly from the author.) Land of Cotton (2015) is the latest work, a suspense-murder novel, guaranteed to keep the reader guessing who the ultimate criminal could be. Angela Spencer is also an accomplished and respected Florida landscape artist, using both acrylic and oil as media. Her paintings found homes in California, Florida, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, British Columbia, Finland, and Hungary. She had several art exhibitions throughout Florida. When she does not write or paint, Angela Spencer, MD works as the owner and CEO of Spencer Neurology Clinic in Melbourne, Florida. She is a cerebrovascular neurologist, certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She resides in Bayside Lakes, Palm Bay, Florida.
