This research relies on Land use/cover dynamic and its soil loss effect analysis using remote sensing and geographic information system. The research work concentrated on the extent; rate, pattern and causes of land use land cover change and their effect on soil loss using soil loss prediction (USLE) model. Findings showed that land use/ cover dynamics was increased as the expense of forest and grazing land. The soil loss trend goes with double increasing rate in each quarter of a century. The major driving forces for the observed land use/cover changes and soil loss rate were population growth, expansion of agricultural land, fuel wood & construction materials demand.
