This book is intended to be a useful resource for teaching practice, in which the importance of oral language in the Early Childhood Education stage is discussed, as well as some theories on language of the most significant pedagogues of education. An approach to the most common speech disorders in this stage is made, in order to offer teachers a more specific knowledge about these students, so that they can offer them an educational response that suits their needs. Finally, some guidelines and techniques for working on oral language in the infant classroom are presented, among which we highlight a sequence of 6 sessions on contents of the cultural heritage of the context to which the students belong, in this case, the cultural context used has been that of the Region of Murcia. The purpose of these sessions is to point out how, thanks to the globalizing character of the stage, we can favor an adequate linguistic development of our students, through any content, in this case the cultural heritage of the Region of Murcia, and making use of active methodologies that favor the integral development of the students.
