Thus, many of the post-metaphysical theories among which theories of consciousness have swarmed; among others, moral solipsism, strategic rationality, value nihilism, indifferentism, the Ethics of responsibility or the heuristic of fear, the Ethics of discussion, etc. Karl-Otto Apel aims at the responsibility of the for the future through the voice of language by means of a new heuristic, that of the "question". As for this work, it demonstrates in any case that the idea of the ultimate foundation remains questionable.
