Lazgin Barany is an Assistant Professor of Applied Linguistics at Duhok University, Iraq. He has written books on ESP and papers on Applied Linguistics and Sociolinguistics. He has been a visiting scholar at DePauw University, USA and Michigan State University, USA. He has attended academic conferences and workshop in USA, UK, Germany and Sweden.
